Frida Mathew Mkingule

With a deep passion for early childhood education and a vision to transform how young Tanzanians begin their learning journey, Frida Mathew Mkingule founded High Hope Daycare & Pre-School. Her belief that every child deserves a safe, loving, and stimulating environment has been the driving force behind everything we do.

Under her leadership, High Hope has grown from a small daycare into a trusted institution serving over 200 families in Dar es Salaam. She remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of care, education, and community partnership — ensuring that the future truly begins here.

Every child who walks through our doors carries a universe of potential. Our job is to nurture it with love, patience, and excellence.
Our Story

High Hope Daycare & Pre-School was founded with a simple yet profound belief: every child deserves a nurturing start in life. Located in Mbweni Teta, Dar es Salaam, our school has grown into a trusted institution serving over 200 families.

We provide a safe, stimulating environment where children aged 0–8 develop confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning. High Hope is an English Medium school where children are taught to communicate, think critically, and grow holistically.

School Prayers

1. Prayer for God's Guidance

Father teach us Lord to serve you as you deserve. To give and not to count the cost, to fight and not to head the wounds, to toil and not to seek for rest, to labour and not to ask for any reward, save that of knowing that we do your will. Amen.

2. Morning Prayer

Our father Lord, the creator of everything, we thank you for this new day that you have given us, we thank you for our parents and teachers. Bless us and our country Tanzania. Amen.

School Discipline

1

All pupils are expected to behave politely showing respect and gentleness to their teachers, administrators, school staff and fellow students.

2

Pupils are not allowed to leave the school compound during school hours without permission from the Headmistress. Furthermore, pupils are not permitted to buy street food on the way to or from school.

3

All assignments and home works shall be finished and submitted regularly. Failure to do so may result in a lower term mark.

4

Pupils should speak English while in school. High Hope Daycare and Pre-School is an English Medium School and thus English is the only language of communication.

5

Pupils going on leave or planning on leaving the school should give the Headmistress at least one week notice.

6

Any pupils who damages the school's property will be expected to compensate by their parents/guardians. Furthermore, the offending pupils may be dismissed or leave the school for a period.

7

Pupils suffering from contagious or infectious diseases are not allowed to attend class to avoid the spread of such diseases. Such students may return upon receiving proper treatment and presenting medical clearance.

8

Parents are not allowed to ask or speak with a teacher during the teaching time, unless permission is granted from the head teacher. To meet with a teacher, a parent should ask the school secretary and arrange an appointment.
